In a remarkable step towards national skill development, 20 soldiers from Punjab NCC unit of the Indian Army successfully completed a 15-day Basic Computer Training Program with CITC.

This initiative reflects not just a training milestone—but a commitment to empowering our soldiers with technology that can aid them both during and beyond their military service.

This specially designed program was conducted over 15 consecutive days, with 4 hours of instructor-led sessions each day, focusing on core digital competencies.

• 🔹 Schedule: 4 Hours Daily
• 🔹 course: CBIT ( Computer Basics & Information Technology )

From the first day of the training, the enthusiasm, discipline, and eagerness to learn were evident in every participant. It was clear—we weren’t just training soldiers; we were shaping digital citizens.

💻 What Was Covered: A Practical, Hands-On Approach

The training was designed to be simple, interactive, and job-relevant. Every topic was approached with real-world application in mind, ensuring that soldiers could confidently perform everyday digital tasks by the end of the course.

• Fundamentals of Computers and Operating Systems
• Email, Web Browsing & Cyber Awareness
• File Management & System Tools
• MS Word: Professional Document Creation
• MS Excel: Tables, Charts, and Formulas
• MS PowerPoint: Making Impactful Presentations
• Online Security & Digital Hygiene

Each session was supported by live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and trainer-led guidance, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, honoring each soldier’s dedication and performance. The event was filled with pride, gratitude, and a shared sense of achievement.
